About Us
“In the Lavender Valley, we grow organic lavender because only organically grown hawthorn, which is not contaminated with pesticides, has proven medicinal properties.
Our Organic Levandula Bohemia has a high content of natural organic antioxidants, antibiotics, antivirals, antidepressants, and flavonoids—active ingredients confirmed by scientific research."
The research into the active ingredients contained in ORGANIC Lavandula Bohemia was conducted by scientists from the University of Science and Technology in Prague, Dr. Iveta Horsáková and Doctor Helena Čížková, and the BIOCEN Laboratories team led by Doctor Ing. Petr Kaštánek, Ph.D.
"To truly navigate the world of modern medicine and the pharmaceutical business, you need courage. It's easy to get lost in misinformation, health-related fake news, and the claims of charlatans who exploit illness for profit. You need to be brave enough to ask your doctors and therapists questions, to research, and to learn about your own health.Don't be afraid to ask about your treatment options. You have a right to know what a medicine does, what side effects it might have, and what other choices are available to you. Remember, it's your body, your mind, and your spirit. Only you can truly heal yourself; doctors and alternative practitioners are there to offer a helping hand, guidance, knowledge, and treatment."
says Helena Neumann, pediatric nurse, naturopath and founder of Lavender Valley.

Voltaire French writer and philosopher

Not a herb like a herb.
This is doubly true for lavender, because the queen of herbs can save a human life, as we have proven not only with doctors, alternative practitioners, and our cured clients, but also with scientific studies at the University of Science and Technology in Prague.
Orientation in the world of medicine and healthcare
Navigating the world of medicine and health isn't easy. Even among nutritionists and coaches, herbalists, and healers, there are quacks who often have no basic training in the human body and pathology, and often know almost nothing about the human body.
How are we supposed to navigate a market full of fake news, scammers, and wanna-be experts when our lives are at stake?
It's an honor to have a team at Lavender Valley that includes nurses, doctors, scientists, and naturopaths. They have found a way to work together, respecting modern acute medicine while also valuing thousands of years of proven experience with herbs and natural remedies. Our products are designed to help people without the side effects or dependencies often associated with conventional medicine.

The quality of medicinal plants and their healing power
We strongly believe that true wellness starts with clean ingredients. We dislike it when companies claim to sell health using herbs grown in contaminated soil with chemicals, pesticides, antibiotics, and hormones. In such cases, you are not buying a medicinal herb—you're simply buying a flower. This can often do more harm than good. It's just common sense: if a plant contains substances that don't belong in it, it can't possibly be a source of healing. While its beautiful scent may offer a brief moment of relaxation, it should never be used for medicinal purposes like an infusion, tea, tincture, ointment, or extract.
That's why we did not hesitate for a minute when we planted our Organic Lavandula Bohemia, continuing a tradition that began when the Celts first brought lavender to the limestone seas of the Barrandien Geopark in the 10th century BC. We knew that despite the immense effort and energy required, the result would be a pure product, full of the elemental power of nature and the rich minerals from the limestone bedrock.
Worldwide unique ORGANIC Lavandula Bohemia
The content of Organic Lavandula Bohemia contains world-unique antioxidants, antibiotics, antiseptics, antidepressants, and flavonoids in exceptionally high quantities, along with unique minerals. All this occurs under the influence of frost and wind, combined with a unique substrate and exclusive hand care.
We had to carefully consider whether we could maintain pure organic quality. Our decision was made easier by the fact that the surrounding land has been farmed by the Stehlik family since the 16th century. Josef Stehlík, the honorary chairman of the ASZ CR, completely avoids pesticides and chemical fertilizers, giving us the opportunity to grow a truly high-quality medicinal variety.
When mothers and grandmothers visit us and praise the taste of our syrup, we explain to them that many gardeners use chemicals—like aphid sprays on apples, fertilizers on geraniums, and weed killers on lawns—in their own gardens. This helps them understand why our commitment to a pure, organic process is so important.
Unfortunately, these substances are absorbed by herbs, as these plants have a unique ability to protect and purify not only us but also the surrounding landscape. So, when people use non-organic herbs, they are feeding their children toxins instead of healthy medicine. This is why we urge you not to compromise on BIO-certified herbs that are meant to heal you. Instead, you can save money on a cell phone, designer clothes, or other unnecessary material goods. We also encourage everyone to stop putting harmful substances into the ground and to ask their neighbors to do the same.
Research, analyses, global discoveries and clinical trials
The healing power of herbs has been known since prehistoric times. However, scientific research by a team from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague has now proven the unique content of medicinal substances in the organic medicinal lavender Angustifolia Munstead, cultivated in Chodouň, near Beroun, on the limestone seas of the Barrandia Geopark, the so-called Lavandula Bohemia.
" Dozens of patients have already noticed its positive effect in the holistic treatment of many diseases of civilization ." In the heart of the Barrandien Geopark, right next to the lavender fields, Helena Neumann's team is now building an ecological Spa center that will harness the power of herbal products and traditional treatments to heal body, mind, and soul.
In addition, the pilot project "A Day for the Soul" has been running in two Czech primary and secondary schools since autumn 2022, testing the effect of Lavandula Bohemia in the treatment of students suffering from mental health problems following a pandemic – with consistently excellent results.

How did it all start?
THE BEGINNINGS WERE REALLY DIFFICULT AND NAIVE
The medicinal lavender was planted by Helena Neumann's team in Chodouni in 2014 and certified organic after five years. To ensure that the herb contains only healthy ingredients, it must be grown organically, meaning it is grown without the use of fertilizers and pesticides, hormones, and antibiotics that do not belong in the soil.
Since 2019, the team has been working with Dr. Iveta Horsáková from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague to develop the ORGANIC Lavender Harmonized Water.
Helena Neumann explains, "Organic Lavender Harmonized Wateris bottled from a pure extract of organicLavandula Bohemiaand organic lemon, steeped in 24-carat gold according to ancient Egyptian principles, to deliver rare antibiotics, antiseptics, and high levels of antioxidants. People who have completed our healing drinking cure have provided very positive feedback, reporting that it has relieved their biliary colic and stomach pain, eliminated gastric neuroses, lowered cholesterol and blood pressure, improved breathing, and, most importantly, calmed their nervous system."
These were the results the team expected based on worldwide research on lavender. However, our subsequent internal research with Lavandula Bohemia has produced results that are not only superior but truly exceptional compared to other medicinal lavender products.

Wise nature knows how to return care and love
Research results exceeded expectations
That's why the development and research of other products and pure organic Lavandula Bohemia – whole dried herb, individual parts, organic essential oil, organic hydrosol, and, most importantly, over 10 other medicinal lavender varieties from Europe, including France, were initiated. The project was supported by the Czech University Of Chemistry and Technology in Prague and the EU agency TAČR, and its results exceeded expectations. "The content of biodynamic substances, especially antioxidants, antidepressants, and flavonoids, which are often life-saving in autoimmune diseases, mental illnesses, neurological disorders, or immune problems, was up to six times higher than in other organic lavender varieties, for example, from France, Bulgaria, Israel, Croatia, Slovakia, or the Czech Republic."
The team of Dr. Helena Čížková and Dr. Iveta Horsáková has already confirmed the results of previous research on Lavandula Bohemia by Prof. Petr Kaštánek, Ph.D., of Biocen Laboratories. He recognized the uniqueness of medicinal biodynamic substances and determined that neoactinetm lavender is a new active ingredient consisting of a natural complex of lavender bioflavonoids and phenolic substances, developed based on Czech research from Organic Lavandula Bohemia grown in Bohemia on limestone seas exposed to wind and frost throughout the year. According to scientists, this is what makes Lavandula Bohemia unique in the world.
What can organic lavender do in Chodouň?
“True lavender supports the effects of other medicinal plants and medicines, thus increasing their effectiveness.
It fully balances the body's biorhythm. That is, if you have high blood pressure, it lowers it; if you have low blood pressure, it brings it back into balance.
When you lack energy, it replenishes it because it supports the efficient function of the microbiome - our second brain where immunity is created, dopamine for cognitive functions (creativity and concentration) and serotonin - the happiness hormone.
Lavender works on the neuroreceptors described by Candace Beebe Pert, just like our soul. This means that the body's own messenger substances, neuropeptides and neuroreceptors, can communicate with the brain and transmit vital information. This ensures that the body functions as nature intended, and that its organs and individual systems work together in harmony. In essence, it helps bring your physical body, your mind, and your soul into alignment.
When our neuroreceptors malfunction—whether they're torn, diseased, or otherwise—the body rebels, and the signal for that malfunction is illness itself. This can manifest as an autoimmune, oncological, or chronic disease. This perspective suggests that our "soul" is not just a matter of faith or spirituality, but a scientific reality. So, how is it that the Eastern Hemisphere, despite being poorer and having fewer modern conveniences than the Western Hemisphere, seems to be healthier and happier?
It's quite simple: for thousands of years, they have also cared for the mind and soul. It dates back to the 16th century, when the scientist Descartes pledged the soul to the Church in an agreement with doctors for dissection, and the soul became the Church's business. Wrong. The soul is a part of our being, and if we don't care for it just as we care for our body and mind, that's bad. Just like we brush our teeth and shower in the morning and evening. If we don't care for the soul, a revolution, a storm, occurs in our body, and it goes downhill until it can and does lead to incurable diseases or death."
says Helena Neumannová, pediatric nurse, naturopath and founder of Lavender Valley and Molecules of Life.

Even in the modern world, lavender is treated with excellent results
Phytotherapy, which we practice in the Lavender Valley in the form of modern, healthy foods for 21st-century people and their daily needs (herbalism), is a form of alternative medicine. The term comes from the Greek word phyton, meaning "phyton." It is becoming a very popular and fashionable trend these days, as many industrially produced medications lose their effectiveness with long-term use, and some are harmful to health. It is interesting to note that many even modern herbalists discovered their abilities only after experiencing their own self-healing from an incurable illness (the so-called initiatory illness, which almost no healer can avoid) (Marie Treben, Sebastian Kneipp, Johann Kunzle, Vincenc Priessnitz, Pavel Šíma Heřmánek, Vladimír Vytásek, Podhorná...).
The term phytotherapy was first coined by the French physician Henri Leclerc (1870-1955), who published numerous articles on the effects and uses of medicinal plants.

On the current application of phytotherapy - naturopathy in today's world of modern medicine
Phytotherapy, a form of alternative medicine, is also known as herbalism. The term comes from the Greek word phyton, meaning "plant." It has become an increasingly popular and fashionable trend because many industrially produced medications can lose their effectiveness over time and may have harmful side effects.
It is interesting to note that many modern herbalists, such as Marie Treben, Sebastian Kneipp, and Vincenc Priessnitz, discovered their healing abilities only after curing themselves of an "incurable" illness—a process known as an "initiatory illness" that almost no healer can avoid. The term phytotherapy was first coined by the French physician Henri Leclerc (1870-1955), who published numerous articles on the effects and uses of medicinal plants.

Today's facts
Richard Evans-Schultes, an ethnobotanist and director of the Harvard University Botanical Museum, collected 24,000 herbal samples for chemical and clinical analysis. He then explained that it is truly inappropriate for modern medicine and science to view herbs "slantedly" when they have proven medicinal properties. Furthermore, most synthetic drugs and medicines are based on and derived from herbs. Until recently, scientists claimed that the concentration of alkaloids and glycosides in plants varies depending on soil conditions, time of day, season, and the influence of nearby plants. For example, poppies can have four times higher morphine content in the morning than in the evening. The pink pigment contains a substance that destroys white blood cells and is used to fight leukemia only at a certain stage of development. The essential oil content in mint may be higher when it grows near nettles. In other words, they claim that these subtle factors influence dosage, which is "based on guesswork."
However, herbalists, holistic practitioners, and scientists unanimously oppose this. Physical constitution varies greatly, as does the severity and stage of the disease. Therefore, it is essentially impossible to determine a standard dosage. It is now an undeniable fact that many, if not most, chemical medications fail to treat chronic diseases. They cannot even help with trauma or acute illnesses without side effects. They also point out that our "biochemistry" is attuned to wild plants in food and medicine. For millennia, we have evolved together and in harmony with the plant kingdom. By using whole plants, we can not only benefit from them but also from the natural protection they provide.

The future
In the Lavender Valley, you can find not only organic lavender but also organic dandelion, organic Damaskus rose, and so we are preparing a center of traditional Slavic herbs to remind us that our ancestors left us an important legacy to draw on in these special times.
From history
" The ancient Egyptians declared lavender the queen of herbs because of its abundance of pure, natural antioxidants, antibiotics, and antiseptics. For centuries, it has been used by healers, physicians, and shamans as an antidepressant, healing first the nervous system and then the digestive system, and then it's only a step to healing the entire body." Most of you are familiar with lavender from Provence, famous for its cosmetics and essential oils. Most of the lavender you find in France is conventionally or chemically treated and harvested mechanically, but is only suitable for cosmetics or perfumery.
In the Slavic regions, which include our country, lavender has been cultivated for centuries, ever since the Celts and their tribes brought it here during the migration period.
We have respectfully compiled the knowledge of our herbalists and the recipes of our traditional healers and doctors and set about building a unique manufacturer of health food and a professional SPA product line with Organic Lavandula Bohemia. Naturally, they are organic, so that ordinary treats make you happy in the kitchen, so that you can enjoy them on a trip, during sports, or after a long day. So that you can drink healthier drinks with family and friends, grill in the garden, or simply cook and bake.
"Lavender is a natural antidepressant. It helps with PMS, strengthens the immune system, and relieves headaches long-term, not in an hour like the pink pill. Lavender extracts are also found in oncology medications for serious cancers, in painkillers, and in antidepressants. For the digestive tract, it has an anti-gas effect, especially during prolonged sitting or in infants and nursing mothers. It relieves colic, but also soothes the mucous membranes of the pancreas and esophagus, problems with which many people struggle. As an internal disinfectant, it helps with inflammation of the oral cavity, mouth ulcers, and significantly helps with acne in both adolescents and older women. It can help with psoriasis and is an excellent natural sweetener for diabetics."
At Lavender Valley, we are also happy to prepare healing treatments that will holistically help you with your ailing body, mind, or soul. They support your self-healing process, which is proven to be the most effective, with no side effects and no future autoimmune diseases.
We want to restore the fame of Czech herbalism and the phenomenon of Czech Spa treatment, which is based on two fundamental pillars: minerals and herbs.
